Divya Kanchibhotla is the Executive Director of Sri Sri Institute for Advanced Research (SSIAR),  research wing of the Art of Living. The vision of SSIAR is to emerge as the research and innovation hub for undertaking advanced research on Global Ancient Knowledge Systems including the area of Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda and other holistic systems for societal transformation and sustainable development of humanity.

Divya is an Engineer and a Scientist with B.Tech and an M.Tech degree in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the premier Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Delhi followed by a Master’s degree in Molecular and Human Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA. She worked as a Senior Scientist at Boston Scientific, USA, where she was involved in creating bio-degradable stents.

She has been involved with Art of Living since 2002. A meditation trainer for over 15 years, she has personally trained thousands of people in Sudarshan Kriya and Meditation in USA, India, Indonesia, Singapore, and the UK. In full-time service with the Art of Living since 2008, she has played key roles in National Administration in USA and India. In 2011, she and her husband moved from the USA to Art of Living International Center at Bengaluru, India. From 2012-2017 she was the Director, National Coordination for Art of Living Trainers and Programs. In her role, she managed all the activities of 17,000 trainers in India along with managing the development and coordination of several Flagship Programs under Art of Living. Since, August 2017, she has been spearheading the research wing of Art of Living
